Mission

Nieves Ministries exists to serve, empower, and uplift individuals and families through faith-based community outreach, education, cultural engagement, and community safety services. Our mission is to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of those we serve by providing essential resources such as food distribution, clothing, Bible outreach, educational support, and ministry services, while ensuring a safe and secure environment through our nonprofit security division, Pinnacle Defense. We are committed to celebrating cultural diversity, strengthening community bonds, and building sustainable partnerships that promote growth, stability, and hope for individuals, families, and entire communities.

 

History

Nieves Ministries was founded out of a lifelong vision and calling placed on the heart of Alexander Nieves. The original idea was born during a class project at Overland High School, where Alexander first developed a plan to create an organization that could serve, uplift, and support the community. Years later, through prayer, determination, and trusted friendship, Alexander partnered with his friend Jeremiah Banks to turn the vision into reality. Together, they officially launched Nieves Ministries as a nonprofit organization in 2024. What started as a simple dream has now grown into a multi-faceted ministry offering homeless outreach, disability advocacy, food assistance, educational opportunities through Vertex Academy, cultural celebrations like the Viva La Isla Del Encanto Festival, and nonprofit security services through Pinnacle Defense. Today, Nieves Ministries continues to grow with one mission: to serve the community, promote safety, build partnerships, and bring lasting impact to the lives of those they serve.
